Utilizing the general contracting approach allows the client to streamline the process of building and allow the client to invest their time and effort to more important things. 

Another positive that pertains to working with a general contractor is that the general contractor assumes responsibility for a job, while a construction manager does not. Various circumstances that may hinder productivity such as disputes, poor workmanship, and other difficulties become the client’s problem if they merely hire a construction manager.
